200 suspects arrested in search operation

LAHORE
CITY division police conducted search operation against terrorists and criminals in different areas and arrested over 200 suspects on Thursday.
The arrested accused have been shifted to undisclosed location for interrogation.
SP Jahanzeb Khan said the crackdown was launched on criminals and terrorists at Railway Station, Badami Bagh, Lorri Adda and Data Darbar to avert untoward incidents keeping in view the prevailing wave of terrorism. He said a number of suspects, who failed to prove their identity, had been taken into custody for further interrogation.
He said that hotels and guesthouses were also checked. Meanwhile, Kotlakhpat police conducted search operation against suspects and arrested a number of miscreants.
