IG Khan Baig have Confrence With His Staff

The success of an officer in the police department depends on best training, well-discipline, commitment to serve the humanity, physically-fitness and ability to work as crime fighter in real sense. Such qualities in officers not only help the police department bring positive changes in Thana culture but could also ensure protection to the lives and properties of citizens.
 
 
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Khan Baig, expressed these views while talking to a 25-member delegation of under-training ASPs of 40th batch at the Central Police Office today. Five women police officers were also among the delegation comprising under-training officers belonging to various provinces of the country.
 
The delegation was headed by SSP (Commander Course) Tayyab Hafeez Cheema. Additional-IG Punjab Sarmad Saeed Khan, Additional-IG (CTD) Nasir Khan Durrani, Additional-IG (Special Branch) Ahmed Raza Tahir, Additional-IG (Investigations) Muhammad Amlish, Additional-IG (PHP) Sohail Khan, DIG Training Punjab Tariq Masood Yasin, DIG (Establishment) Amjad Javed Saleemi, AIG (Admin and Security) Sajjad Hassan Khan Manj, and Provincial Minister for environmental protection Col (retd) Shuja Khanzada were also present on this occasion besides others.
 
 
The IGP Punjab urged the officers to move into the field with the spirit of dedication, and dutiful in order to serve the humanity. The IGP also asked the officers not to compromise on merit and never accept pressure at any cost during their service.
 
The IGP responded to the officers’ questions in-detail regarding terrorism, criminal justice system, investigation methods, police training and Police Rules 2002. The IGP also gave detailed answers to the questions of under-training officers about the posting tenure of officers from the rank of SHO to the IGP.
 
The operational heads of all the departments gave briefing to the delegation about the working of various sections. The delegation later presented a souvenir to the IGP.
